After 10 long years of waiting for approval and plans, the Williamstown Congs have finally received the heartwarming news of our new club rooms being officially open for use.
The club rooms were declared open as of April 2023.
The committee is ecstatic with how well the facilities have come up, we could not be happier with how the club rooms look. In saying this it is a great opportunity for all players and members of the community to take in these club rooms as it means so much to a lot of people at the club due to the sheer hard work that has been put in behind the scenes over the years and could not be more grateful.
Coming into season 2023/24 the committee have high expectations given we are able to organise social functions in an indoor environment as opposed to outdoors where we have been situated in the past. It will be a fresh start which is just what the club needs.
A season launch is currently in the works with the social committee already planning out the function in preparation, at this stage we do not have a firm date but we are looking to have it a week prior to round 1. It is a great opportunity for past, present, and future Congs members to attend our season launch whilst being able to do a walk through of the facilities. Further details to come.
